Bushcraft Skills: Wilderness Woman & Survival Man (Homestead Park, York)

This course will examine the essential skills needed for a survival situation. We will explore the basic requirements of shelter using practical and problem-solving approaches, have the opportunity to experience fire-lighting by natural methods and then prepare and cook food on an open fire. There will also be the opportunity to learn tool skills and, time permitting, make cordage from natural materials.
